-Week 1~Week 14- (22.4.2024~26.7.2024) Garment CreationTechnology 2 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -FALLOUT: NUCLEAR RADIATION- Before starting my design, I found many pictures for research and inspiration. The picture I found is more about how I imagine the impact of nuclear radiation brings to us. For example, mutation, hurt, scars, pain and etc. My style reference for this collection is more forward to clean and neat style. Besides that, I plan to add formal wear, layering, reconstruction and asymmetrical in my design as well. At first, I took inspiration from the HAZMAT SUIT, which they wear in the power plant station to protect themselves from nuclear radiation. I found some interesting silhouettes, like oxygen pipes, full masks, helmets, the hazmat suit that looks like plastic/PVC material and etc. Besides that, I also do research on the effect of nuclear radiation on humans.
