Topic: Dart Manipulation

From the lecture, Mr. Riza introduced dart manipulation to us. Dart Manipulation is one of the most creative ways to develop sewing patterns or even get creative by moving the darts around the pattern block and shifting the dart excess to a new position. There are two methods of dart manipulation, which are Pivot and Slashing & Spreading. Mr. Riza also showed us the type of dart manipulation by using those methods in the lecture.

Requirement:

-Produce 4 sample dart manipulation using Pivot or Slash & Spreading method

-Exercise on Mahjong Paper and upload progress on E-Blog

Here is my sample of dart manipulation by using Pivot method:

1. CENTRE SHOULDER DART

2. WAIST DART

3. ARMHOLE DART

4. CENTRE FRONT DART

Besides that, I also draft the type of dart manipulation on Mahjong paper by using Slashing & Spreading method.
