Introduction to Pattern Drafting and Garment Making

Topic: Capsule collection- Essential Fashion
For this final project, we will design our first capsule collection. The final project requires students to pick 4 garment pieces and produce prototype/toile from the "Essential Fashion' collection. The "Essential items mean the mush have items in consumer wardrobe and can be easily transformed and matched to follow the recent trends.

Patchwork top:

Below is the drafting process and toile/garment making process for Look 2.
Oversize T-shirt:
First, I make the oversize t-shirt.
I direct make it in actual garment since I think it is simple.

| I draft the pattern of oversize t-shirt on Mahjong paper. |

| Cut out the pattern in the actual fabric, then sew and overlock the seam. |

| Pin the neckline fabric then sew and overlock. |

Since the pattern is not fit on the mannequin, Mr. Riza guide me to make the pattern into panels.
