Fashion Illustration

Topic: Overlapping with marker color

In this task, student is required to create a fashion illustrations using marker pens by using

the “overlapping technique’. Students will be starting to illustrate as well as practice the rendering of

the stylized fashion figure. This is to ensure the technique can be achieved in a different platform of

fashion presentation (Fashion Design sketches). After this exercise, students will create an elaborated rendering stroke of ‘overlapping technique’ on their final task which is on the final

illustration board. With the theme of ‘Sports illustrated’, they required to choose any selection of 

fashion editorial from fashion magazine as reference.
