I inspired by these pictures which called "Untouchable" from Dutch Invertuals. What i saw and feel is they are trapped and anxious. From this, i can link with our daily life rules and limitation. All of us are restrainted by limitation.

Initial style and silhouette

I choose to combine formal wear with sheer fabric. I think formal wear can interpret our daily life rules or limitation, as people who wearing formal wear have to be attention to their behavior and professional during work and etc. While the sheer fabric interpret the chance and hope of them to broke the limitations.

There are some images generate by midjourney, this may help me to get inspiration of how to combine formal wear and sheer fabric.

Besides that, i also get some images from Adobe firefly.

The images show the feeling of restraints, limitations.

My SS23/24 Collection is inspired by the everyday rules and limitations that shape our lives. From the rigid structure of school regulations to the boundaries set by society, these constraints often make individuals feel lost and hinder their ability to make decisions with confidence.

The moodboard represents the struggle between conformity and self-discovery, encapsulating the emotions that arise when faced with these limitations.

However, the moodboard also features images of individuals defying these limitations, standing out from the crowd, and embracing their individuality. These images signify the importance of self-discovery and the courage it takes to make decisions that align with personal desires, even in the face of societal pressure.
